What a beautiful collage as Bird's tribute....the first of many I'm sure. I remember most of them but my favorite is the last one of the two of you. I think that picture is the essence of what love is all about between this sweet little girl and her Lady. The one in the doorway is moving as well. I think you just captured her in so many ways from the hole to blue eye etc. Thank you for sharing such wonderful memories.
Beautiful pictures and a reminder of how special Miss Birdy was. Never forget your great times together with her and those pictures will remind you how special Miss Birdy was and will always be. You really captured her beauty and uniqueness in your writing and your pictures. Thanks always for sharing your love for and your life with this special dog with those of us who care.
Many lovely photos of the Bird--and some I'm not sure I've seen before! Thanks for continuing to share even though Birdy has passed on. I hope being around ones who love you help heal this hurt!
Thank you, Colleen. Today I started to feel like I turned a corner. Not so much sadness. Lighter. And my Beloved is coming for a visit tomorrow for six days, and that will go far in softening the edges.
Like Dianne, I stop by every day. Partially out of habit, and partially because I miss the wonderful stories of love and life between Birdy and her nice lady. Please keep posting -I'll keep reading for as long as you keep sharing.
I keep coming back every day too. I love the collage and the paw print brought tears to my eyes. I am glad that you are feeling better. Birdy will always be with you.
Love!! Love!!!
ReplyDeleteSome of my FAVORITE pictures. But will ALWAYS be partial to her blue jewel picture :-) Thinking about you everyday Nice Lady.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very moving and appropriate tribute. I still stop in here everyday, thinking of you, OM, and Birdy.
